When you say  "same with SIP phone" you mean that a call from iaxComm to SIP
phone has the same problem, right?

Can you try IAX Phone or DIAX?  They are both based on the iaxclient library as
well.  Dan's app (DIAX) doesn't use the portaudio portion, so that would help
narrow down where the echo is coming from.
