It helps specifying system details...

Such as... running kernel version, gcc version, glibc version, distro 
version, ...
version of linux kernel in /usr/src/linux-2.4/...

If you are able to use irc please join us at irc.freenode.org... That is

a lot easier for doing quick (interactive) debugging of your problem.

Did you compile the zaptel included in the zapbri patch? (using 
./install.sh is easier and usually works... although it has too little 
debugging at this time, but it is something being worked on)
