Oh, what a difference.

Here in Germany where ISDN is so common since years, ISDN is actually 
considered PSTN (public switched telephone system) or even POTS (plain 
old telefon system).

It must be a very US-american view to have ISDN outside of PSTN, e.g. only 
for data.
