[Asterisk-Dev] ODBC Support status?

We are using ODBC right now with the realtime module.  Loading sip and 
iax accounts from the db, as well as extensions.

What's happening with the ODBC support?  There are a couple of entries 
in
Mantis (http://bugs.digium.com/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0002413 and
http://bugs.digium.com/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=0002398 )but nothing 
that
clearly states added/rejected (at least that I could see).  In 
particular,
we are looking for a means of performing queries using OBDC against a 
DB in
MS SQL Server.
