[Asterisk-Dev] callback function when user presses a key while in a bridged call

hi all,

i am new to this list - so please apologise if this is a stupid
question...

i have done the asterisk-prepaid application - this application is
already working fine. But one feature is still missing: If the user is
in a call - and he wants to start directly another call - then he should
be able to do this by pressing twice the "*" key.

So, the question now is: Does there exists something like a callback
function which my application can register - which gets called if the
user presses a key ?
