[Asterisk-Dev] How are outgoing calls handled?

doc/model.txt describes the incoming calls model, but there is no
explanation on how the outgoing ones work. Can somebody help me
with that?

BTW, it doesn't describe how the call is hanged up when the
calling side hangs (ast_queue_hangup is my understanding is
correct)
