I run Asterisk on a P133 w/ 14 megs of ram (after the kernel loads) and it 
is just fine. It handles about 7-8 concurrent SIP calls w/ no transcoding. 
That drops to 2-3 if I do a processor intensive transcoding such as G726 
or ILBC.
