Jeremy,
I had a look through the LICENSE file, as you suggested.
The LICENSE file is indeed in the top level directory.
When I had a look through, I saw
a) No mention of the word openh323
b) No mention of the word Linux support services
I looked for other LICENSE files on my box - from other projects.
There was a variety of file sizes of the LICENSE files. I found one that
was 1 byte different in size.
/usr/share/doc/netpbm-9.24/GPL_LICENSE.txt
diff --suppress-common-lines the two license files.
What did I see? One line of difference.
Repeat for LICENSE file for different project.
2 lines of difference, in the layout of the header.
Conclusion:
asterisk is under a pure vanilla GPL license, no modifications/exemptions.
So- do you see the point?????
What license is asterisk?
GPL.
Or
Modified GPL (accept openh323 + LSS)
Derek.
