Are you sure? The GPL says:

  "Activities other than copying, distribution and modification are not 
   covered by this License; they are outside its scope"

I think that compiling Asterisk and chan_sccp on the same machine, and
configuring Asterisk to load the chan_sccp module (which by default
requires no changes to modules.conf) and loading Asterisk, does not
constitute "modifying Asterisk" and is therefore not a violation of the
GPL. But I could be wrong.
