*Well Duane Fedora Core 1 is working great for me (other than compiling
zaptel)
and had been rock stable. I have the sources to the kernel installed
and have compiled
many other programs without issue. Changing distributions is not an
option at this
point since I use the box for other things, I would hope a better
solution would be to
find out "why" its not compiling on Fedora 1 and fix it. I am willing to
do whatever I can
to help toward that end, but since I am no coder I will need some input
on what to try.

Thanks in advance for any help I get on this list.

Shawn

When I tried core 1 talk about a nightmare/waste of time, I told it
during install to install the kernel source, but it didn't but the until
thought it was, but damned if I could find it...

Went back to debian, changed a few things in the make and not a problem
with the install, doesn't seem to inject a dial tone when a fxs line is
picked up though, still working on that one...
