we are connected to netia in warsaw and it works perfect. what you write 
reminds me of some tests we did with siemens ESWD and it was a nightmare with 
it. not only CRC4 but wrong line restarts etc ...

Netia uses 5ESS switches and is till now absolutely trouble free :)
