Asterisk 21 is still years away, and I thought extended/deprecated meant community maintained, has that changed with 19? If we can't do anything with it now, then what's even the point of keeping it around for another 2 years?
This is not a one-off thing, but affects many clients using Asterisk for SS7 PSTN trunking, and this functionality doesn't exist in PJSIP.
