Upps, I missed both of your comments.

Although it looks like Corey is right, I have not used menuselect/bootstrap.sh, yet. Consequently, I would have to investigate that first. However, the first investigation revealed that ./bootstrap.sh and menuselect/bootstrap.sh are out of sync since August 2006-for more than eleven years. Because Corey's proposal would change near the whole file and must be tested therefore, I would rather postpone that when I am finished with the main ./bootstrap.sh. Then, I (or someone else) can re-sync those files again.
