@Joshua: thanks for the offer.
We continue work on this Thursday (GMT+1) and should be able to address all issues (and also add some smaller tweaks.

I am not sure if we are going to finish the interleaved_stereo.h this week as we need to port the stereo flag to the codec structure and remove this file.
We will report back on Thursday evening!
