Patch Set 2:

just remembered that pjproject itself sets the protocol to only the method specified if we pass 0 as the proto. so if we specify 0 for proto and tlsv1 for method, only tlsv1 _1 and _2 are allowed. if we pass sslv3, only sslv3 is allowed.
