> Random clicking on the line has been an annoying issue that I and several others have experienced over the years with Asterisk. These aren't artifacts of particular audio files (typically .ulaw), this can happen even with something like PlayTones(1004) or Read(digits,dial,,i). For that reason, it doesn't seem like purely a transcoding issue to me.
