That's not something I'm willing to do at this point in time. It becomes: How far back do we then support? What constitutes an actual regression in that case? Do we continue to do releases? How long do we wait for someone to report something? There's a lot involved in it and it's not something we can take on.

When this is resolved then the patch itself can likely be applied to 16.
