_chan_sip_ was officially deprecated in Asterisk 17. However, there are leftover references to it, and its use in various places that should now be updated to PJSIP.

For example the _extensions.conf.sample_ file needs to be updated to remove all _chan_sip_ references, and replaced with PJSIP references.

Any other files, and wiki pages should be updated as well.
