Yeah, there's only an approximate relationship.  We just wanted to get an idea of how busy the system was.

The patch does plug a few holes in the exact place shown in the debug information so I'm fairly confident that you won't see any increase over time but yeah feel free to re-open the issue if you do see them.

The patch was just officially too late for the next release but we're going to have to do another set of release candidates anyway so I'll see if we can get this in.
