As well - this would not be the correct place to make this change. The res/res_pjsip/pjsip_options.c code is responsible for management and updating the status. It would need to be determined precisely what is going on and the precise flow. The debug level log can help with this.

> We are seeing a contact status of REACHABLE in AMI events when a contact is deleted.  I believe this is because the status is not updated before the update event is pushed via stasis.  I have included a patch that sets the contact status to REMOVED before performing the sorcery delete so that the contact observers will report the correct status.
