The segmentation fault you experienced has been fixed by ASTERISK-27340. I'm unsure the exact revision you are running, but I suspect it includes revision ae696132a27238b432cfd532e14e5b7aa2c0f247. If so the assertion is being handled in ASTERISK-27412.
