Any updates will be posted on the issue..  core developers haven't had a chance to look into it yet. We have other issues affecting more people that are higher priority at the moment.

If you need quicker resolution you can always try to rally some community developers with a bug bounty: https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Bug+Bounties

Otherwise we just have to wait until core developers are available. I don't have an ETA.
