Greg, just as information: Until that SILK issue is resolved, perhaps this is a viable workaround: https://github.com/traud/asterisk-silk.

Joshua, just as information, might not matter to this issue: The source code of the original library for [Skype SILK|http://developer.skype.com/silk/] and [Polycom Siren|http://www.polycom.com/company/about-us/technology.html] (G.722.1, G.722.1 Appendix C, G.719) are not publicly downloadable anymore. At least I am not able to find an official download anymore.
