It's possible for some providers to add values to the left of the '@' in a SIP URI. For example:

sip:1235557890;phone-context=default at xxx.xxx.xxx;user=alice

When this occurs the URI is not properly parsed and in the case of callerid the shown callerid ends up including the number and values up until the '@'.
