I have a feeling that this is a sort of race condition between a call answer and a scheduled RTCP report. The last AMI event asterisk sent before crashing was a SIP-call entering a bridge (BridgeEnter). The call was answered exactly 5 seconds after the initial INVITE.

I'm going to try adjusting the interval (default - 5000 msec now) to see what happens.
