Richard Mudgett commented on PRI-177:
-------------------------------------
Could you attach your {{chan_dahdi.conf}} file and a "pri set debug on span x" log file with a {{.txt}} extension showing the failing call.
I'm slightly confused about what Q.931 actually wants in this regard. The ETSI version of Q.931 doesn't edit the corresponding wording either. Q.931 doesn't have much to say about this as far as confirmation with other areas of the document. The section I referenced earlier could be talking about setting the ie length to zero and not just leaving out the octet 4 octets representing the number. The called party number ie table that shows octet 4 is not marking it as optional with a '*' so that just leaves not sending the ie.

> Key: PRI-177
> URL: https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/PRI-177
> Project: LibPRI
> Issue Type: Bug
> Security Level: None
> Components: General
> Affects Versions: 1.4.13
> Environment: An ISDN interface in NT mode
> Reporter: Birger "WIMPy" Harzenetter
> Assignee: Birger "WIMPy" Harzenetter
> Severity: Minor
>
> When trying to send a global call to a NT span, a called party number IE is generated without a called party number, or in other words octet(s) 4 is/are missing.
> Correctly the whole IE should be absent in this case.
> The syntax of the dial string does not matter. Tried group or channel, with or without trailing /.
