Dade Brandon commented on ASTERISK-25103:
-----------------------------------------

I rarely say this..... ship it!

Patchset 3 is working on a production system with our (odd ?) use cases. No issues reported yet, no crashes. We will be slowly rolling it out to 35 or so servers this week and should have a quantitative idea of any stability changes next week, but from what I've seen I wouldn't hesitate to get this patch out to trunk.

As a side note, I was hoping this would help some delay issues webrtc users experience, but I'll probably have to open another issue for it since it had no affect. Using early media we can move the bridge delay (handshake delays?) to the start of the call rather than when it is 200 OK'd, however with early media, the delay sometimes inexplicably takes a lot longer on about one out of ten calls, to the point where the caller can't hear the greeting of the callee. Without early media, the bridge delay is consistent based on the caller's network conditions, between 0.1 and 3 seconds, but it does not take much in terms of network stability issues to make it a consistent 2 second delay (even if the audio is fine, the network may not be stable enough for a quick bridge). Since you're working on timers, if there's anything configurable or any ways to make this more aggressive, then any info you have would be valued.

Also, Joshua Colp, you're my hero <3

> A issue for an investigation into the various DTLS crashes currently hanging about.
