Any bug that could be triaged by a refs log needs to be reproducible on the current version of that branch, otherwise there is a decent chance it's been fixed.  The [Asterisk Issue Guidelines|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Issue+Guidelines] page clearly says to update to latest in branch.
