Rusty Newton created ASTERISK-23777:
---------------------------------------
Summary: [patch] Asterisk man page contains a (new) unquoted minus sign
Key: ASTERISK-23777
URL: https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-23777
Project: Asterisk
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: None
Components: Documentation
Affects Versions: 11.9.0
Reporter: Jeremy Lainé
Severity: Trivial
The man page asterisk.8 contains one minus signs (documenting a command line switch) which need to be quoted, otherwise they are treated as hyphens by groff, breaking copy-and-paste. This is the same kind of issue as ASTERISK-23028.
For more information see:
http://lintian.debian.org/tags/hyphen-used-as-minus-sign.html
The attached patch fixes this.
