I still think this might by an Asterisk bug. Can you analyze it in more detailed?
BTW, sorry for being so late with this comment, but openSUSE didn't release Asterisk 11.10 until now. Too bad, Asterisk 11.10 still produces this symptom with that particular Zoiper version, however Zoiper developers released a new verison with a workaround for this problem.
