Test case:
SIP traffic generator initiates 1400 simultaneous calls with ulaw-encoded voice. Call initiation rate is 15CPS.
Asterisk accepts incoming calls, creates connection with terminating server (SIP). RTP stream for all calls is transcoded by asterisk from ulaw to alaw.
Test results:
LA is over 1000 using asterisk 11.3.0, less than 40 using asterisk 1.6.2.24
