Jay Jideliov created ASTERISK-23108:
---------------------------------------

             Summary: “rtcachefriends”, WebRTC, and Realtime
                 Key: ASTERISK-23108
                 URL: https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-23108
             Project: Asterisk
          Issue Type: Bug
      Security Level: None
    Affects Versions: 11.7.0, 11.6.1, 11.6.0
            Reporter: Jay Jideliov

When moving over to realtime in Asterisk 11.6, and trying to use WebRTC (SipML5), we have noticed that if “rtcachefriends” is set to “no”, it is impossible to call a WebRTC client, due to Asterisk not recognizing this client as registered. However, the softphones are reachable with the same setting in place.
If, however, “rtcachefriends” is set to “yes”, it is impossible to dynamically change SIP settings, as they are being cached, thus killing the whole realtime idea.
