Rusty Newton created ASTERISK-24167:
---------------------------------------

Summary: When a Music On Hold stream starts it restarts at beginning of file.
                 Key: ASTERISK-24167
                 URL: https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-24167
             Project: Asterisk
          Issue Type: Bug
      Security Level: None
          Components: Resources/res_musiconhold
    Affects Versions: SVN, 11.10.2, 11.11.0
Environment: Tested on CentOS 6.5 64-bit (possibly affects other 64-bit builds - not tested), FreePBX. Tested also on CentOS 32-bit.
            Reporter: Jason Richards
            Assignee: Rusty Newton

On a 64-bit compile of Asterisk 11.10.2, music on hold keeps restarting at the beginning when callers are placed on hold or queue announcements are made. For example, if a caller is placed on hold, then taken off, then put back on hold, they keep hearing the beginning of a song which can be highly irritating! This also affects queue announcements - music should not restart each time caller positions are announced.

This bug is fixed by replacing res_musiconhold.so (in /usr/lib64/asterisk/modules) with the version in 11.5.0 x86_64
