Morten Isaksen created ASTERISK-22437:
-----------------------------------------

Summary: Asterisk suddenly sends 300 Mbit/s of OPTIONS packets to its peers
                 Key: ASTERISK-22437
                 URL: https://issues.asterisk.org/jira/browse/ASTERISK-22437
             Project: Asterisk
          Issue Type: Bug
      Security Level: None
          Components: Channels/chan_sip/General
    Affects Versions: 1.8.12.2
         Environment: Linux on vmware
            Reporter: Morten Isaksen

Asterisk version 1.8.12.0.

The other night one of our Asterisk servers suddenly sends 300 Mbit/s of OPTIONS packets (6-7000 req/sec) to its peers (qualify=yes).

The server is in production and I do not have any debug information.

I have seen bug reports for something like this for 1.4 but not for 1.8.
