-----------------------------------
Resolution: Not A Bug
If you had read the [Asterisk Issue Guidelines|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Issue+Guidelines] found on the submission form you would know that:
* Asterisk 1.4 is no longer supported
* We don't support information requests via the issue tracker
* This issue is not a bug report or patch submission
Try a Google search for "queue position variable site:lists.digium.com" you'll see plenty of mailing list conversations that may be helpful. I'm not sure if 1.4 contains what you want. At a glance it sounds like 1.8 and beyond does.
I also see the queue variables listed here https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Various+application+variables but no description of what version they are in.
If you have further questions please use one of the resources found here: http://www.asterisk.org/community/discuss

> I use Asterisk (svn version) 1.4 and want to get some Queue information: caller Queue position. I don't know how, because there are no such a function or variable. I know that command 'queue show name_of_queue' shows my callers, and their positions in the queue. But how can I use it in dialplan, which variable store this information?
