Alisher commented on ASTERISK-21998:
------------------------------------

Steps to replicate:

[A] Extensions is connected to [B], [B] can be local/external number inbound or outbound call
[C] Extension start monitoring [A] Extension using ChanSpy application in whisper mode. ChanSpy(SIP/[A], w)
Now [C] can listen to conversion of both [A] and [B]
- [A] Extension can listen to conversion from [C] extension
- [B] Extension should not be able to hear conversion from [C] extension in whisper mode, currently it does, and this should be fixed.
- [B] Extension should only be able to hear conversion from [C] extension when ChanSpy is executed with Bridge option, ChanSpy(SIP/[A], wB)

> Components: Applications/app_chanspy
> Affects Versions: 11.4.0
> Environment: CentOS 6.4 32 bit
> Reporter: Alisher
> Assignee: Alisher
> Severity: Minor
>
> ChanSpy in whisper mode (w) is not working properly. The voice from monitoring extension is heard on both channels, where one leg is supposed to be muted.
>
> Although In the barge mode (B) the voice from monitoring extension is heard on both channels loudly. When whispering, on one channel it's load while on other channel is low, it's supposed to be muted completely.
> This feature works fine on old Asterisk version 1.4.
