That is an infinite loop shoot i pasted the wrong thing, apologies, Basically the point i was attempting and failing at illustrating is was doing something then dialing, then ending the call. Seemed to leave the pipes and internal fds behind. This seems to be a bigger issue on Centos 6 as opposed to Ubuntu. (Not seeing the same bad behavior on Centos 5.5 however)
