We can't use the patch unless Jeffrey Ollie submits it [under license on the tracker|https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Issue+Guidelines#AsteriskIssueGuidelines-DigiumSubmissionLicenseAgreement].

You could write your own patch and submit it, or else ask Jeffrey to submit his.
