I recompiled asterisk-11.5.0 using my ported version of rb2778 [^ast11-rb2778-1.diff] + [^IO_stdin_used.patch] + [^sparc_alignment_issues_3.diff] which compiled fine.  but when i start asterisk i get an immediate core dump.  see [^ast11+iostdin+sai3+rb2778-backtrace.txt]
