Ok. So 1.8 is fixed and committed.

And 11 needs:

(a) {{sparc_alignment_issues_3.diff}}

But is then still broken?

Does (a) do anything at all? Is it worse without it?

(b) Did you check whether adding {{sparc_alignment_issues.diff}} and/or {{sparc_alignment_issues_3.diff}} and/or the the put_aligned32 patch from the other ticket does anything to improve/worsen the situation?
