Matt Jordan commented on ASTERISK-20571:
----------------------------------------

This is fairly strange, since the audio stream should be in an acceptable state. Unfortunately, the backtraces you've provided don't have symbols for the Asterisk core, so we can't see the state of the audio stream in {{ast_readaudio_callback}}. Can you try recompiling with {{BETTER_BACKTRACES}} enabled and see if that provides more information?

> When queue announce time is set, the system will crash under seemingly higher queue loads.
> Have not found an exact cause of the crash, however it happens frequently on a few systems.
> We experience the issues with asterisk 1.8.13.0 as well as 1.8.17.0.
