Hi Richard ,
             Thanks a lot . The issue is resolved.  In the dsp.c I modified the values DTMF_HITS_TO_BEGIN to 2 and DMTF_MISSES_TO_END as 3 and recompiled asterisk and it sees to be working fine now.
