Summary: Call shows on hold after attended transfer with a
Polycom phone
Description:
When I do an attended transfer from a Polycom IP650 the call is
transferring successfully, but the call is not releasing properly on the
phone that is initiating the transfer. Instead the call shows that it is
on hold.

I noticed that the line only goes on hold when I transfer the call to a
Linksys phone (SPA942) or Cisco phone (SPA303g).

When I transfer the call to another Polycom phone (IP330) the call does
not go on hold instead it shows the line as active. If the person doing
the transfer was using a handset, this will not be a problem since the
person can just hang up after the transfer is complete. But if the person
was doing a transfer while on speaker phone then the line will stay up and
the person will have to press the speaker button after the transfer to
fully hangup the line on the phone.

Do you happen to have a Linksys/Cisco phone you can transfer the call to?
