I would be interested in investigating this issue if I felt like I had a
definite lead on how to reproduce it and where to start, but the comments
on this issue are all over the place.

Some of you are saying it is in 1.8 only, but then there are other reports
that say it is in 1.4, 1.6.2, and 1.8. Some of you are saying it isn't
related to Asterisk at all, and that some package updates resolved it.

Here are some things that would help an Asterisk developer to be able to
investigate this.

1. Precise steps to reproduce the issue using a recent release. Example.
Using this dialplan segment and these steps my audio is out of sync.

2. Determining any factor that reliably triggers the sync issue. Example:
In this scenario it works 100% of the time, but in this scenario we have
problems... or, It work 100% of the time for a single call, but once we
reach a certain load the audio begins to drift.

Ultimately we need to find out what is the common factor among all of you
who are reporting this.
