Avaya with Asterisk 1.8.1.1
Description: 
1. Upgraded to Asterisk 1.8.1.1 from Asterisk 1.6.2.15.

2. All outgoing calls started to fail.

3. "ooh323 show" was not recognized as a valid command. Auto-complete
worked though.

4 Rebooted the system.

As the Asterisk was compiled with the "DONT_OPTIMIZE" unchecked the core
dumps I currently have are not very usable according to the
https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Getting+a+Backtrace.  I will
compile now with the flag checked.

Unfortunately it is virtually impossible for me to roll back to 1.6.2.x as
the system I am running is production with a limited resources as I
mentioned before.

I failed to apply your patches to 1.8.2.3 due to multiple errors, and I am
applying them to the SVN trunk again.

All tests passed fine with SonicWall H.323 inspection turned off. I
captured the trace and observed Asterisk sending keep-alive packets every 2
minutes with Avaya properly acknowledging them. The test call lasted 20
minutes with no interruption.

It looks like we are making progress.
