@kkm: Sorry to hear that. At least the issue has been picked up and
scheduled to be fixed in 1.8.3!

As for your issue: Latest SVN 1.8 branch, no patches I can still deadlock
every time, and after the deadlock I can call CoreShowChannels *once* from
AMI.  After that I get no response when issuing CoreShowChannels.  I am
able to login again to AMI, but still get nothing from CoreShowChannels.

With my latest patch attached to this issue, I don't get the deadlock and
AMI always responds to CoreShowChannels.
