Summary:                    Record audio channels gets out of sync
Description: 
When recording with mixmonitor, some record files channels gets out of
sync.
The scenario was:
- Medium call traffic: More than 60 and less than 120 concurrent calls.
- All calls are recorded
- Codec: Alaw
- Record File format: WAV GSM
- Processor load: Never more than 50%
- Asterisk Version: 1.6.2.10 (also happened in older versions, since
1.4.19)
- SO Debian 5.0.3 - 2.6.26-2-686

i'm not sure why this fixed it for me.  I tend to update OS and Apps etc
as soon as things are available and therefore seen changes in asterisk and
fedora.   I was using asterisk SVN, but recently found a number of issues
which are obviously causing more important issues with digium/asterisk,
that i have reverted back to 1.8.3-rc2 2 days before I had the Fedora
patches which appeared to fix my out of sync problem.  So in a more stable
environment now.  

I only use asterisk for personal use, as now taken early IT retirement,
but am a little astonished that digium/asterisk not not helped any more.

But the way this issue exists across all platforms and versions, there
must be something somewhere which can explain this and to me appears to be
therefore an OS issue which asterisk is susceptible too.

So far as of today, and taken a new fedora 14 kernel today, too, my
mixmonitor recordings are still ok .

I will continue to monitor this issue and help, if I can
