wdoekes:  That is awesome information... I think I know right where to
look.  Can you just comment here whether or not the response from your SIP
provider for that register statement is ever received, or does it get
dropped for bad password, or cannot reach host?  I'd imagine it's under
perfect conditions now, but it would be handy to know just in case.

schmidts:  Exactly what I was thinking.

I used the refcounter and #define REF_DEBUG feature extensively in order
to get the code patched up.  What I believe is happening is that the newly
corrected reference balancing code causing the a bug that no one saw before
to show up in the area where that 32 second timer is set/caught.  Should be
easy to find now.
