Summary: Outbound call to Siemens PABX hangup, receiving
hangup request cause 102
Description:
Migrating from [Asterisk 1.4.21.2 / zaptel 1.4.11 / libpri 1.4.7] to
[Asterisk 1.6.2.13 / DAHDI 2.4.0 / libpri 1.4.11.4].

Running Asterisk on RHEL 5.4 32bits with digium card TE405P

Asterisk is linked to our Siemens PABX (HiPath 3750) (signalling=pri_net)
through two 15 channels E1 links.

We are randomely meeting the following unattented experience : some
inbound calls to PABX (either coming from external ISDN network or from
internal sip peers) are hangup after 4 seconds.

Asterisk logs reports the following :
chan_dahdi.c -- Channel 0/xx, span x got hangup request, cause 102.

Cause No. 102 – Recovery on timer expiry

There are many reasons why this cause code is sent. It does not
necessarily indicate a problem. Can you attach a packet capture showing
this happening?

One cause is that the network did not receive a response to the SETUP
message it sent.
