Summary: ExternalIVR 'S' command sometimes results in an
Asterisk segmentation fault
Description:
In the dialplan, I answer the call, play some files, and then send the call
to an externalivr script.

The first thing the externalivr script does is set the autoclear option.
Then, it attempts to clear the playlist and insert a new file via the 'S'
command.
In this case...
S,beep

When this is executed, it often causes Asterisk to crash with a
segmentation fault.
